The Drowned God works in mysterious ways.

A gift... within their brain? Are you some sort of mage or seer like the ones from those old stories? I've heard of such things, but never come across them. I cannot imagine it at all, being able to look into someone else's head in such a way.

It sounds like what you got from them was worth all of that effort.

Mage... Ha. Yes. Let's go with that. I can do magic. Fly without wings, race through time, paint the future, a hands-on cranial nerve exam... I'm fantastic at the bar games.

You know, a drink sounds like a good idea to me. I can tell you all that I know of... and maybe then you could show off some of those magical talents, too.
